Active Older Adults Exercise Program

The Active Older Adults program is starting FREE 12-week exercise sessions.  This is an opportunity for older adults looking to gain more knowledge in the fitness center regarding muscular strength conditioning, cardio strength conditioning, balance and flexibility to gain personal attention in a small-group setting. Register online, call 701.293.9622 or stop by either Y!

The YMCA now offers pickleball! Stop by the Fercho YMCA Monday - Friday from 9:00-10:00am, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-1:30pm, and join in a game! (Open to all YMCA members. There are no scheduled games, you can just make up teams and play!)

1) Contact your insurance company to see if you qualify for Silver Sneakers.

2) If you do qualify, fill out the application forms, which can be found online or at either Member Services Desk. Along with the application forms, you must also present your insurance card and a photo ID to Member Services.

3) Then take a tour at the Y! Jump into a class! And start enjoying our programs that support physical, intellectual and spiritual strength designed specifically with YOU in mind. 

 (SilverSneakers membership have access to all classes, areas and all the YMCA offers. You are not restricted to only SilverSneakers programs and classes - although they are made just for you!  The same goes for just our YMCA senior members who may not have SilverSneakers - you are welcome to all the SilverSneakers classes, events and more!)

Personal Training : Ages 12 & Up

The YMCA now has personal trainers to provide fitness support for all levels.

Our personal trainers are here to help and truly care about your total health and well being. Because Y personal training is done in the Y environment, it’s comfortable and not intimidating.

Scheduling is very flexible. A personal trainer is available at both locations, everyday from open to close.

All Y members receive a FREE 30 minute session with personal trainer to address whatever you needs and goals might be, or to help you get acquainted with the cardio and strength equipment.

Six-Week Warrior (NEW) : Ages 18 & up

The NEW Six-Week Warrior program is a lifestyle recharge for your mind, body and soul through nutrition, fitness and stress management. This program is for you if you’re trying to build muscle and lose stubborn body fat, if your sweet tooth and cravings control your life, if you’re lacking energy, or if you find yourself overwhelmed by stress. During the program, participants are paired with an accountability partner to support each other. Participants also receive a body composition test, meal suggestions, weekly encouragement videos and articles and more. Join Kylee in a holistic approach to mastering not only nutrition but also stress management and fitness.

Head to camp and join other women of all fitness abilities and levels, and discover your power to improve your health, and increase enjoyment of life through fitness, good nutrition and stress management. We offer a variety of fitness, stress management and nutrition tips to help you on your wellness journey.

  • Fitness: Boot Camp, Tabata, Weight Training, Yoga, Run/Walk/Nature Hike, Body Assessments (optional), Group Fitness - land/water, Obstacle Course, Ropes Course, Climbing Wall
