Income-Based Membership and Programming

The YMCA is for everyone! Our programs, services and membership enable kids to realize their potential, offer ways for families to have fun and be active together, and empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body. And that’s just the beginning. Our YMCA works hard everyday to ensure that everyone has the ability to learn, grow and thrive. That is why we offer financial assistance and scholarships to families and individuals so everyone can take part in our programs and services, regardless of their ability to pay.


Y Match Membership Assistance

If you are unable to pay for a YMCA Membership, you may choose to apply for a Y Match Membership. Funding for Y Match memberships is made possible through community donations to the YMCA. This assistance is available, within the limits of our resources, to members that provide complete documentation showing their inability to pay the full member rate.

By completing and bringing in the worksheet and applications below, along with all the required financial information, we can determine your personalized membership rate based on a sliding scale. The Y Match Membership applications are reviewed on-site by the Member Services Team (may take 15-20 minutes for approval). In some special cases with unique family/medical situations, applications may be forwarded onto our Y Match Committee to be reviewed (may take up to two weeks for approval).

Y Match Membership Application, Brochure & Financial Worksheet

Y Match members may choose to pay monthly via cash, check, money order or credit or by setting up a regular bank draft (drafted on 1st or 15th of each month). Y Match members also pay the enrollment fee based on the percent discount that is granted to them. Participants who let their membership lapse more than 30 days must pay the enrollment fee, again, in order to continue their membership. 

Note: Members who do not wish to provide their financial information may join at any time at the full membership rate. Incomplete applications are not reviewed.


Camp and Program Assistance

If you are unable to pay for a YMCA program or camp, you may choose to apply for Camp and Program Financial Assistance. This assistance is available, within the limits of our resources, to those that provide complete documentation showing their inability to pay the full rate. Participants are required to contribute to the cost of their YMCA camp or program fee – as a result, participants develop a sense of caring, belonging, and ownership. 

Please complete the below application thoroughly and accurately. You must provide verification of your income – all records will be kept confidential. Please only submit one application per family/household.
