LIVESTRONG® AT THE YMCA

Build strength and self-confidence while working towards a healthy lifestyle.

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a FREE 12-week wellness program designed for cancer survivors who have become de-conditioned or chronically fatigued from their disease and/or treatment. The focus is on cardiorespiratory fitness and strength training with the outcome of the class being overall wellness and confidence. Individuals will work with an Exercise Specialist. This program fulfills the important need of supporting the increasing number of cancer survivors who find themselves in the transitional period between completing their cancer treatment and the shift to feeling physically and emotionally strong.

Participants of LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA also receive a full membership at the YMCA while enrolled in the program and may have a support person enrolled in class with them.
