Youth Basketball League
Develop technical basketball skills, cooperation, sportsmanship, and a love of the game in a fun environment where everyone gets a chance to shine!
Session Prices:
- Members: $99/session
- Non-Members: $119/session

+ Leagues
Leagues are available for Grades K - 1 (coed), Grades 2 - 3 (boys league and girls league), and Grade 4 (boys).
+ Practices
One practice per week, at either the Fercho or Schlossman YMCA, starting the week of January 15, 2024. Pick your practice time at registration!
+ Games
Games will take place on Saturday mornings (Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, Mar 2) at Fercho YMCA. Game schedules will be available the week of January 15, 2024
Registration
The YMCA Basketball League is parent/volunteer- led. If you (or your spouse, friend, family, etc.) sign up to coach your child's team, 50% of the league fee will be refunded to you. If your child's team does not get a volunteer head coach and/or co-coach, your child's team will be cancelled.
Youth - Basketball Skills, Drills & Scrimmage!
We begin with the basics/fundamentals, stance/triple threat, and progress through to more advanced skills dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, rebounding, and more, leading up to playing scrimmages!

Itty Bitty Basketball
Little ones will learn basic basketball skills like dribbling and throwing while having a blast and getting some wiggles out! Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old class.

Basketball Camp
Have fun playing hoops in this short and sweet session - right before the holiday break! We'll work on dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, rebounding, and play scrimmages!

Basketball Clinic
Learn technical basketball basics, meet new friends, and have a blast! We'll start with the basics and progress to dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, rebounding, and more - all leading up to practicing our skills in scrimmages! We will teach fundamentals to children in grades 2 and 3 and refine the skills of children in grades 4 and 5. We will group players by age and/or ability. Please bring tennis shoes and a water bottle! A nut-free lunch and snack will be provided.
